Dr. Craig Crippen was born and raised in our nations capital, Ottawa. He attended the University of Ottawa and obtained both a B.Sc.(Honours) in Chemistry and an M.Sc. in Pharmacology/Molecular Biology.
Following these degrees Dr. Crippen was accepted into Medicine at the University of Western Ontario where he was involved in a variety of research studies which included minimally invasive surgical procedure and analyzing best practices for surgical outcomes.
After medical school, Dr. Crippen attended the University of Manitoba and completed his CCFP training in Family Medicine as Chief Resident and was a board member of PARIM (Professional Association of Interns and Residents in Manitoba) for two years. Dr. Crippen started full-time medical practice in 2003 with special interest in cosmetic procedures such as Botox/Juvederm and light source treatments. Dr. Crippen also started a medical cosmetic clinic in Banff as well to introducing medical cosmetic procedures to the city of Grande Prairie, AB.
In early 2008 Dr. Crippen met the team at DermMedica Kelowna and decided to move here and practice in this wonderful community full-time doing the work he loves. In his spare time Dr. Crippen enjoys many sporting activites including running, cycling, and tennis. He is also a trumpeter and piano player.
